So it's been about a week since we started back and we have started doing a brainstorms on what is important to us and what we care about, at the moment I only have two things down as you can see but i think they are things i can get into more depth with.

When I look at the word make up, I see that as a subject. However your 'why' is the imperfections, society and confidence. so you have it, just in the other order. Always go back to the reasons why the subject (make up) is important and you have your concept. Your why. We can start with that if you like :-)
ReplyDeletecool, i like Theresa Paden's work. It is really nice with the orange and blue contrast. You are missing an artist! one more. Maybe it would be a good thing for you to look at Chuck Close, who is an American painter. The brush work, subject and colour palette would likely suit your work so far.
